DIRECTIONS:
1. Open the pack of Danglers and divide the contents into two piles. Using half the beads, placing one ear wire and one filigree in
each. Lay out your main earring piece and arrange your beads; this allows you to alter your design until you are completely
satisfied with it. Duplicate the design for the other earring. You will Use the head pins to hold the glass beads and create the
dangle effect.
2. Thread the beads onto the head pins. After all of the desired beads are on the pins, trim the extra lengths off of the head pins
with wire cutters, leaving approximately .375”. Using the round-nosed pliers, make a right angle bend close to the last bead on
each head pin (to hold the beads in place).
3. Create a loop at the top of each head pin; grab the wire’s tip with the round-nose pliers and, wrapping the wire around the end
of one of the pliers’ points, roll the wire to form a half circle. Reposition the pliers if needed and continue rolling until you have
created a loop. Before finishing the loop, completely connect the wire to the appropriate hole in the earring filigree. (For extra
range in motion, you can attach the head pin wire to a jump ring; attach the jump ring to the filigree.) Once attached, completely
close the wire loop with your pliers. Attach all head pins to the earring until your design is complete.
4. Once you have mastered creating our basic Danglers designs you can purchase coordinating packs of Dress It Up Petite
Palettes and Sophisticated Shells. The assortment of small beads and shell charms in these packs will extend your range of
designs and add endless creative possibilities.
