PANTONE reports that spring 2008 is highlighted with bold and bright colors.  the bolds and brights are complimented with soft neutrals.

 

colors of patterns are combined in wild geometric's and floral prints.  favorites are : rococco red/ freesia/ and croissant combined. 
also  snorkel blue combined with daiquiri green and pink mist.

 

walk in to any mall and you will see the many storefronts that feature the croissant beige colors in their windows. 
croissant can be seen combined with spring crocus and rococco red and also with silver gray and chocolate.

 

black and white is still popular.  current print patterns feature the black and white being combined with freesia or daiquiri green or snorkel blue...

Ralph Lauren and Valentino highlight the bright yellow "freesia". in their collections.  Calvin Klein goes with a snorkel blue. 
Dolce and Gabanna has patchwork pumps with shades of blue and others with the shades of purple.
